NSYC gets a visit from Legis. Sarah Anker during band night.
Band Nights are drug and alcohol free events that give local kids a chance to rock out on the weekend.
Suffolk County Legis. Sarah Anker visited the band night last month at the .
“[It's] a wonderful program that gives kids who are passionate about their music a forum to perform and is a safe activity that keeps them occupied on a Friday night,” Anker said.
Janene Gentile, Executive Director of the NSYC, added, “This program provides a safe harbor and is a great showcase that recognizes the kids’ talents.”
