PHOTOS: Patriotic Plant-In at Heritage Park
Girl Scouts plant flowers for Avenue of America at Heritage Park.
At the recent Centennial Celebration at Heritage Park in Mt. Sinai, Girl Scout Troop 1090 planted 66 plants in the Patriotic Plant-In. Blue catmint, white day lilies, red roses and yellow/white azaleas were planted.
The troop earned their Bronze Badge for the planting and painting a picture for display during the Parade of American Flags. Click through the images above for more from the event.
