The pancake breakfast was attended by several hundred residents, and Suffolk County Legis. Sarah Anker also took part.
“It was my pleasure to support the Rocky Point VFW and I enjoyed serving breakfast to those who attended,” she said. “Joe Cognitore, Rich Acritelli and the many volunteers who help create awareness about those who have sacrificed to protect our country deserve much recognition for their heartfelt efforts.”
