The Week Ahead: Sound Beach Civic, School Board Meetings
A look at what's happening this week in the Miller Place-Rocky Point area.
1. The Sound Beach Civic Association meets Monday, 7:30 p.m. at the Sound Beach Firehouse. Brookhaven Highway Superintendent Dan Losquadro will be there to speak with residents.
2. Rocky Point School District's Board of Education will hold its reorganizational meeting on Thursday at 7 p.m. in the high school auditorium.
3. The Miller Place Board of Education will also hold its reorganizational meeting followed by a business meeting at the high school starting at 7:30 p.m.
4. Continuing the trend, the Shoreham-Wading River school board will its reorganizational meeting at 8 p.m. in the high school library.
