Have to add, locally, Coucilwoman Jane Bonner fought this but few from the community stood up withRead More her against this project.

Yeah... "Really Excited" about more local Family Owned businesses that have served thisRead More community for many decades getting "tougher than nails" large chain store enterprises to compete with. Where's the community benefit when the trees that creat oxygen to breathe are gone? When there are more vacant stores in the strip malls that house local businesses that WILL BE affected? Fewer stores in the malls reduce "mall traffic" and the remaining merchants too will suffer. This truely is a brainless move to develop business and improve employment in the region. Every aspect of this project is destructive! And... wait till the traffic starts with the construction planned! Wait till the traffic to do business congests 25 A even more... A death trap is about to be built: This is at the "hub" of several road accesses to our 3 community hospitals and the preferred route of emergency vehicles. How many will reach their destinations too late because of traffic? 25 A is "growing" in its accident rate and mortality rate. How much worse should it get before people cry out "Murder!" Results will be: dead trees, dead local businesses, dead smaller strip malls, late DOA's at hospitals and more deadly accidents. Who's insane idea was this? Of all those elected to look out for our bestter interests, who tried to stop this? Hello? Anyone home?

Don't believe them when they say they spoil you. We will never return to buy there again as myRead More friends say also. No quality control in the service department is just one reason.

IT TOOK ME SEVERAL MINUTES TO FIND MARIO IN THE PHOTO, ONLY KIDDING. MY LATE PARENTS AND MY FAMILYRead More HAVE BEEN PURCHASING BIRD BATHS, RELIGIOUS AND ANIMAL STATUES FROM ROCKY POINT STATUARY SINCE 1968 WHEN THERE WAS ALSO AN OUTDOOR MOVIE DRIVE-IN LOCATED NEXT DOOR. I WOULDN'T EVEN CONSIDER GOING ANYWHERE ELSE TO PURCHASE WITH THE COLLECTION OF STATUES THAT HE HAS.

Too much money for Rolling Oaks and to narrow. I'd rather pay a little more and play a better courseRead More if I'm taking the time to play. I deserve it. But not at Rolling Oaks
Miller's Place May 7, 2013 at 08:33 pm
Plenty of other golfers play 18 at other courses. Maybe Rolling Oaks should realize that $25 to walkRead More their short, usually poorly manicured course isn't locals' best option.

Is the town and or the county going to do anything about the inlet into Mt. Sinai harbor? Sandy andRead More the winter storms have made it very narrow and could be very dangerous now the the boating season is beginning. Some dredging should be scheduled SOON.

We have SO many pizza places in this area. I went to this place once because it took too long, ourRead More food was cold, and they got my order wrong. So many other places to go, it wasn't worth it (to us) to go back. I would love to see something else put in here instead of yet another pizza place.
