Father Maguire was a man of conviction and a true leader. He took us from the small mission churchRead More on the hill to a beautiful new church. He may have been a man of "one word", but one who inspired and lead his flock.

It is wonderful when someone shares great information and memories of the Apollo program. I onlyRead More wished I could of been there to see them lift off but still have great memories of watching it on television. Neil Armstrong was a true hero, humble and always deflected praise to others in the program. He now belongs to history and the ages.

its a fact that the majority of businesses are SMALL businesses so supporting these small businessesRead More is just as if not even more important than supporting the big ones some of which that pay no taxes. So trickle-up is more effective than trickle down. You don't need a bette example than our country, but you must be an expert economist

As in the comments by family and friends, yes Frank loved kids! Especially during the summer months,Read More they would collect in front of his home and chat. Often you would see him repairing their fishing poles, broken toys and what not. He was an "extra Grandfather" to many of the neighborhood kids and the only one to those not to have one surviving. Now that summer has arrived and children are out and about, many not knowing of the passing of Frank, I am sure will be seen teary eyed by his home when they do find out. He was better thn a "block watcher" for parents who would know that there was one place kids could be found, in the living room watching TV with Frank. Being entertained with the affectionate small jokes that a Grandfather would tell. During the war, he may have been a great hero to be remembered by all... The Rocky Point's children he was an image of "learn to be a survivor," and to a select few from broken homes, he projected an "emblem of family." Rest in Peace Frank! It was a great honor to have known you! May your legacy thrive and live in the hearts of Rocky Point.
