As a member of the New York State Assembly, Dan Losquadro serves on the Higher Education, Insurance, Social Services, Transportation and the Children and Families Committees.  Assemblyman Losquadro represents the 1st Assembly District, which includes northern Brookhaven and the towns of Riverhead, Southold and Shelter Island.
Dan Losquadro was the Suffolk County Legislator for the 6th Legislative District from 2003 to 2010.  He served as Chairman of the Environment, Planning and Agriculture Committee as well at the Veterans and Seniors Committee.  From 2006 to 2010, Dan was unanimously elected to be the Legislature’s Minority Leader. For nearly a decade before taking public office, Dan worked as a senior property claims estimator for State Farm Insurance.  A Wading River native and graduate of Stony Brook University with a B.A. in History, Dan lives in Shoreham with his wife, Lynn, and their son, Joseph.
