Valerie lives in Miller Place with her husband Gregory and her five children. Gregory is a Certified Public Accountant and has owned his own business for over 27 years. Crystal, the oldest, is a Dr. of Physical Therapy currently working at Professional Orthopedic in Roslyn, while the other four are in college. Valerie has been an active member of the community for 22 years. She has been a member of the Miller Place PTSA, the Miller Place PTO and the Miller Place Homemakers, which is a not for profit organization supporting local charities on Long Island. She has volunteered in the Miller Place School District sitting on committees such as The School Improvement Team for Andrew Muller Primary, North Country Road School and the Miller Place HS. She has coached girls softball for several years with the North Shore Little League and has served on the Board. Valerie also plays softball and has been the team representative for the "Angels" with the Town of Brookhaven for 11 years. The Angels have also volunteered as a team for the Town of Brookhaven in community events. This is Valerie's 10th year as a USSSA softball umpire for the Town of Brookhaven umpiring men, women and children's games. "This is a wonderful place to raise a family. The community support and comradery are hear-warming. I am proud to be a part of Miller Place."
