Suffolk Water Sells Miller Place Surplus Holding

Part of the hundreds of acres of land identified as surplus holdings by the Suffolk County Water Authority, a 0.84 acre lot in Miller Place has been sold.

The parcel, which borders Harrison Avenue, 15th Street and Tyler Avenue in Miller Place, has just been approved for a subdivision into two lots for residential use, according to the SCWA.

They are scheduled to close in June at around $170,000. The property was one of six properties totaling 34 acres put up for sale after it was deemed they were not needed for future water needs.This parcel was the smallest of the six properties.
