A Benefit For Our Mother, A Local Seamstress @ Carmodys
- Three-years ago our mother beat the worst case of cervical cancer her New York team of doctors had ever seen, a tumor with a 5-inch diameter.
It had disappeared after a 3-month battle. They said it was nothing short of miraculous as they were sure she would die.
Eight weeks ago, a recurrence was discovered, the same tumor re-emerged, and though smaller at 1-inch, it is inoperable, in a worse place than before, more aggressive and growing quickly.
Her first round of Chemo was 3 Weeks Ago and it is a much ...stronger dosage now for her system has built immunity towards it. Due to her last bout with this disease she has since become Diabetic, has a mild Heart Condition and some internal complications.
Being it is her 2nd go at this, the insurance company is only going to pick up "some" of the medical expenses. Because of the severity of this treatment there are other medicines needed for her to be comfortable during this procedure.
This fundraiser was created by my brother and I to try and raise whatever monies we can to help in any way it can, in order for our mother to make it through this fight and be able to enjoy her children and grandchildren for what could be a few more years of our lives.
Her name is Liane D’Ambrosio. She has been a local seamstress to the community for over 35 years and has probably met you one time or another.
Please help our family through this trying time. We are having this benefit on September 27th at Daniel Carmody's Restaurant and Public House of Rocky Point starting at 8pm.

There will be a 50/50 Raffle, Chinese Auction and Free Buffet. Live Music will be provided by 2 Man Acoustical Jam
