Services Set for Miller Place Woman Killed in Crash on Sunday

Linzie Leigh Davis will be remembered at services set for Wednesday afternoon and evening and Thursday morning.

Visitation will be at The Branch Funeral Home in Miller Place on Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Her funeral Mass will be Thursday morning at St. Louis de Montfort in Sound Beach at 10 a.m. with a private cremation to follow.

Davis, 25, was a 2006 graduate of Miller Place High School. She was killed Sunday in a car crash in Coram, in which she was driving westbound on Middle Country Road near the corner of Fife Drive when her car collided with a pickup truck driven by a Yaphank man. 

The Davis family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Linzie's name to Concern For Independent Living, 312 Expressway Drive, South Medford, NY 11763.
