Water Leak Closes Stairwell In High School

A small water leak that was discovered this morning in the new wing of the district has caused quite a hassle for the administration this morning.

Fire Trucks and other emergency responders were called this morning to help with a water leak at the Miller Place High School.

According to the high school principal's office, the water leak began sometime this morning and was causing water to seep out into one of the stairwells in the new wing.

The district said it's not enough water to cause any alarm or affect the regularly scheduled school day.

The maintenance crew and other responders are still on scene working to fix the leak.
