5 Things Left to Do Over the Summer

What's there left to do with just a few weeks to go?

Summer is winding down fast as the days slowly get shorter and the weather gets cooler and cooler, but there are still a few weeks left to go so finish out your Summer with a bang with these great activities.

1. at the Bald Hill Ampitheater

Beatstock 2011 spans 10 hours on two stages on Aug. 20 starting at 11 a.m. Touted as the "greatest dance concert ever," Beatstock features Big Time Rush, Kat Deluna, Shaggy, Lucas Prata and more. Along with live and DJ acts, the event will also feature special guests Briella Calafiore and Jackie Bianchi of "Jerseylicious" and Teresa Guidice and Melissa Gorga of "Housewives of New Jersey." Due to two rainouts there are still two concerts remaining in the concert series in the parking lot of Big Shot, the Billy Joel Tribute Band performs on Aug. 23 at 7:30 p.m. and the last two acts, will perform on Aug. 30 at 7:30 p.m. The final concert will include a food drive, so don't forget to bring non-perishables.

4. Enjoy the Beach

Don't take for granted the amount of time left to enjoy the beach. Whether it's Cedar Beach or wherever you head to the sound, get the towels and umbrella ready and enjoy while you can.

5. Stock Up on Cold Treats

While not every place closes for the season, some do, so enjoy cold treats from places like , and of course, the ice cream man, while you still need to cool down. Before you know it, the need for a cup of hot tea is going to outweigh the craving for ice cream.
