Rocky Point High Students to Compete in MSG Varsity Quiz Show
Students will compete with Kings Park in "The Challenge" on MSG Varsity.
Six students will compete with Kings Park in the first round of MSG Varsity’s competitive quiz show, The Challenge, airing at 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 28.
The Rocky Point High School team is represented by Casey Heely, Alan Rozet (Captain), Alison Gohn, Charlie Conti and Matthew Dutton (Alternate). Their academic advisor is Guy Reed.
The Challenge pits 192 high schools in the tri-state area in a competition quiz match up with one school in each region being crowned regional champion with a $2500 prize for their school. The winning teams then go on to the championship where they square off in a tri-state showdown where the winning school is awarded $10,000. Each student participating in the final Challenge Championship game receives $500.
