WATCH: Gas Lines Form at Miller Place Hess

Locals are filling up tanks Monday night in wake of blizzard, which has created lines at Hess in Miller Place and other local stations.

After the gas crisis that followed Hurricane Sandy, locals crowded the gas stations Thursday evening to fill up their tanks before the upcoming blizzard.

The Hess gas station in Miller Place had multiple lines that extended out into Route 25A and Miller Place Road on both sides. During Sandy, Suffolk Police assisted with gas lines, but with no assistance Thursday night, a few arguments even broke out over the lines.

As of Monday night, Hess was out of regular at some pumps but did have regular available at some. Get a glimpse of the line in the video above.
