Miller Place Passes Budget: Winners and Losers!

Winner: BOE for working hard at keeping the Budget under the Cap! Your hard work is appreciated.

Winner: MP Administrators for giving something back and showing some respect toward our community issues.

Winner: MPTA who made no concessions toward our budget and kept pay status quo. Only to have to fight with the community another day.

Winner: MP community for sticking together and trying to hold all accountable.

Winner: MP community for passing a very reasonable budget (though I voted NO).

Loser: MPTA for not helping keep the jobs lost by 16 fellow workers.

Loser: MPTA for bashing the community that has supported you in various forms of media and getting away with it. You've lost "face" with those of us that know what really went on.

Loser: Those of us that feel not enough was given back for the community.

Loser: Those Teachers that we will miss and lost their jobs.

Loser: Miller Place community that despite our best efforts still has the sub-standard school in our area.
