Friday Outage Update: Much of Mt. Sinai Restored
A large portion of Mt. Sinai has been restored, but many in Miller Place, Rocky Point and Sound Beach remain in the dark.
A Long Island Power Authority map shows that there are still close to 5,000 customers without power in Miller Place, while many in Mt. Sinai regained power Thursday night in to the morning.
Take a look at the outage updates according to LIPA's map from Friday morning, which only shows restorations in Mt. Sinai.
