Three Village

Firefighters from the Setauket Fire Department and the Selden Fire Department responded to a fire on Arbor Ridge Lane in South Setauket at approximately 2:45 a.m. Thursday morning. According to Chief Dennis Mirante, the fire was under control within 15 minutes, and there were no injuries to either the residents of the home or the firefighters at the scene.

A Port Jefferson man was arrested in connection to multiple burglaries in Head of the Harbor.

Arlindo DaCruz, 31, was arrested on two counts of second-degree burglary charges and criminal possession of stolen property after admitting to Suffolk County police that he broke into a house on Rhododendron Road in Head of the Harbor on two separate occasions, according to police.
