No Challengers in Mount Sinai Board of Ed Race

Incumbents are only ones to file nominating petitions.

The two incumbent Mt. Sinai Board of Education members who filed nominating petitions to run again will not face any opposition.

Trustees Lynn Jordon and John Kostic, whose terms end in June, will again be on the ballot. They will not, however, have any challengers as they were the only ones to file a nomination by Monday's deadline.

The election takes place on May 21 on the ballot along with the school budget and a capital projects vote to repair the roof at the middle school.
