Legis. Sarah Anker hosted a Green Energy Summit for contractors on June 4 at the Heritage Center in Mt. Sinai to provide information on how government can help the expanding green energy field.
The summit included uest speakers Neal Lewis, Executive
Director of the Sustainability Institute at Molloy College, and Rosemary Olsen of the Community Development Corporation. They spoke about new and upcoming programs and opportunities that will benefit green contractors.
“This event facilitated important dialog in understanding how government can support our green energy businesses. As Brookhaven Town’s former Energy Director, I look forward to supporting
proactive measures to increase sustainable green energy projects. ” said Legislator Anker.
