Renovations to Close Heritage Park Playground for Week
Playground will reopen Saturday after a week of renovations.
The playground at Heritage Park in Mt. Sinai will be closed from April 16 through April 20 for repairs, according to Lori Baldassare of the Heritage Trust.
"As the playground begins it's fourth season, the popularity of this playground designed by community children is in need of some TLC," she said. " We will close for a few days to bring a renewed playground to Heritage Park for the 2012 season."
With temperatures forecasted for the 70s during the week, park-goers will be able to look forward to a newly renovated playground as the weather continues to warm.
Baldassare added that donations and volunteers for the Heritage Trust are always welcome and appreciated.
