WATCH: Rocky Point Civic Organization Meeting
Brookhaven Councilwoman Jane Bonner, lawyer Carole Burns, and Jessica Helm, board member of the Sierra Club, spoke at a recent civic association meeting.
The Rocky Point Civic Association met earlier this week, holding its first monthly meeting of 2012 at the VFW.
Guests this month included Brookhaven Councilwoman Jane Bonner, local lawyer Carole Burns - who works for a firm offering pro bono work for low-income individuals - and Jessica Helm, a member of the board of directors for the Sierra Club.
The group's next meeting will be held on Feb. 7.
