Parkside Fuel Cares

We are accepting stories from families who would benefit from a free 100 Gallons of Oil.

Parkside Fuel believes in supporting the local community. This Holiday Season we have decided to run a promotion that will help a family in need. Starting today 12/10/2012 we will be accepting stories from families who would benefit from a free 100 Gallons of Oil. Participating in this promotion is fun, fast and free. This is an opportunity to tell the world your story. Explain why you are the most deserving candidate and why everyone should vote for you. You can make us laugh or you can make us cry. Either way, don’t hold anything back! Submissions will remain open until the submission closing date on December 20,2012.

It's great that Parkside Fuel plans to give 100 gallons of oil to a family in need, however maybe it is best that they do so without having to have the needy family publicly share their story of need. People in need are often embarrassed or reluctant to admit that they have lost their job, are dealing with a family illness, etc. Perhaps Parkside Fuel can do this in a private format, so the entire community doesn't have to know a family's very personal story of need. Kudos to Parkside Fuel for their willingness to help others! Happy Holidays to all!!

Marian, Thank you for your kind words and suggestion. We will look into ways we can improve the privacy of the program in the future. Happy Holidays!
