Hello, my name is Monica Williams. I am a librarian at the Port Jefferson Free Library and I will be blogging on the Miller Place/Rocky Point Patch. You may have seen some already, but my postings will now appear on a regular-usually weekly basis. I am looking forward to talking with you about books and library news and interests.
Miller Place residents, as you may be aware, are eligible to get a library card at the Port Jefferson Free Library. Your library card grants you access to all of our terrific programming, materials, and services. To get a card you just need to bring in two proofs of residence (cable/phone/utility bills, or for renters, copy of rental agreement) and photo identification. Children and babies are also eligible to receive cards, so we encourage you to sign-up the whole family! Please note, if you already have a card at the Comsewogue Public Library you will have to wait until July 1, 2012 if you would like join us at the PJFL.
Our library is open Monday- Friday 9:30am-9:00pm Saturday 9:30am-5:00pm, Sunday 1:00pm- 5:00pm. (Please note our Summer Hours will take effect as of Sunday May 25- September 3)

During the Summer we close at 5pm on Fridays, and the Library is closed on Sundays in July and August.
