Misleading or False Advertising is OK in Politics?

As we all know, political ads are dangerous --because some people rely on them (exclusively) for information about who or what to vote for!  As George Demos started out by saying nothing other than he was not a politician (unlike his opponents), I was curious about his new ad that claimed he would vote to repeal ObamaCare, and that both Tim Bishop and Lee Zeldin supported OBamaCare.   Actually, Lee Zeldin did NOT support the Affordable Care Act, so the Demos ad is blatantly false.  But is everyone checking the facts?  Let's not waste our votes. Don't rely on ads or even the media coverage of the candidates.  Do your own research and fact checking.
