Court Finds That Cell Phone Caused Brain Tumor

Unfortunately the credibility of Italian courts is pretty low right now. They just convicted 6 seismologists of manslaughter for failing to predict the 2009 L'Aquila earthquake that killed 300 people. I'm not saying this is wrong about cell phone radiation, in fact it's probably correct. My mother was a very regular cell phone user for long conversations - she died of a glioma brain tumor in 2002.

While certainly this landmark decision of the Italian Supreme Court is not controlling or binding authority in our courts, the basis upon which the decision was made will be relevant in the many similiar currently pending American lawsuits. My condolences for the loss of your mother.

Thank you Paul... 10 years and it's still something of a shock because it happened so quickly. Grateful though that she didn't suffer.
I wouldn't expect the Italian court's decision to affect decisions in US courts. I think the WHO's classification and the Interphone study will probably carry more weight.
