Crime Report: 7-Eleven Employee Steals from Store

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

David Garcia, 21, of Miller Place, was arrested on March 21 and charged with petty larceny and fifth degree possession of stolen goods. He allegedly entered a 1997 Nissan Maxima and took coins on Pardham Knoll and Millard Road.

Joseph Berendowski, 23, of Mt. Sinai was arrested March 21 and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Berendowski was charged for alleged unlawful possession of prescription medication.

An employee of in Miller Place was arrested March 20 and charged with petty larceny. He allegedly rung up beer and other items, then voided the sale and took the items.

Joanna Franco, 42, of Rocky Point, was arrested March 20 and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was allegedly in possession of crack cocaine and a crack pipe.

A 16-year-old boy, of Miller Place, was arrested March 19 and charged with burglary-illegal entry with intent. He allegedly entered a house under construction on Park Lane and wrote on the walls.
