Crime Report: DWI Charges and a Damaged Vehicle

A blotter of the latest arrests and incidents in Miller Place-Rocky Point.

The following information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Suffolk County Police Department Sixth Precinct reported these incidental arrests in Miller Place, Sound Beach, and Rocky Point during May 4-10:

Joseph Yelner, 23, of Miller Place was arrested May 10 in Miller Place and charged with second degree criminal mischief. Reports indicate Yelner allegedly damaged the center console, radio, and hood of a 2008 Hyundai parked on Shore Rd., West in Mt. Sinai.

Deborah Michelsen, 45, of Sound Beach was arrested May 9 in Wading River and charged with first offense DWI. Reports indicate she was arrested at Route 25A and William Floyd Parkway in Wading River after traveling southbound on Randall Rd., Rocky Point. Reports state she allegedly failed to maintain lanes and ran a red light.

Cory Conley, 38, of Sound Beach was arrested May 5 in Sound Beach and charged with aggravated DWI first offense. Reports indicate Conley was traveling in a 1993 Jeep Grand Cheroke when he allegedly entered Route 25A and Radio Avenue unsafely. Reports indicate he was arrested westbound on Tyler Avenue, Sound Beach.

Jeremy Lucas, 37, of Port Jefferson Station was arrested May 4 in Miller Place and charged with second degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Reports indicate he operated a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
