Crime Report: Man Found in Kohl’s Bathroom With Hypodermic Instrument

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Suffolk County Police Department Sixth Precinct reported these incidental arrests in Miller Place, Sound Beach, and Rocky Point during May 19-24:

A 17-year-old male, of Rocky Point, was arrested May 24 in Rocky Point and charged with fifth degree criminal possession of marijuana. Reports state he allegedly had possession of marijuana in the parking lot of 245 Route 25A, Rocky Point.    

Joseph Tusa, 33, of Mt. Sinai was arrested May 23 in Selden and charged with first degree drug impairment while operating a motor vehicle, and seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Reports state Tusa was in the driver’s seat of a 1996 Dodge Ram when he was discovered to be in alleged possession of drugs at approximately 9:45 p.m.

Joseph Cassese, 21, of North Bellmore was arrested May 23 in Rocky Point and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. Reports state Cassesse was found in possession of marijuana at approximately 4:25 p.m. on Route 25A, Rocky Point.    

Peter Cash, 33, of Port Jefferson Station was arrested May 22 in Rocky Point and charged with criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument. Reports state Cash was discovered in the bathroom of Kohl’s of Rocky Point with a hypodermic instrument at approximately 7:20 p.m.

Gary Watson, 39, of Mt. Sinai was arrested May 20 in Mt. Sinai and charged with first degree criminal possession of marijuana, third degree criminal possession of marijuana, and seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
