Crime Report: Woman Charged with DWI, Possession after Mt. Sinai Crash

Ramon Aviles, 38, of Selden, was arrested Aug. 3 in Rocky Point and charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. During a traffic stop on Hallock Landing Road police allegedly found 35 wax bags containing heroin that he hid in the front part of his pants.

Christopher Nelson, 26, of Shirley, was arrested Aug. 2 in Rocky Point and charged with first offense DWI. Nelson was stopped after failing to maintain his lane, police said.

Roger McClean, 32, of Mt. Sinai, was arrested Aug. 2 in Patchogue and charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. He was arrested on Division Avenue in Patchogue after illegally possessing a controlled substance, Oxycodone Hydrochloride, according to police.

Michael Morahan, 24, of Port Jefferson Station, was arrested July 28 in Miller Place and charged with DWI with a previous conviction in the last 10 years. He was arrested on Route 25A, Miller Place after allegedly driving while intoxicated and driving 62 mph in a 45 mph zone in his 2002 Ford.

Lisa Branchgrove, 48, of Mastic Beach, was arrested July 28 in Rocky Point and charged with petty larceny. She allegedly stole merchandise from a store on 25A in Rocky Point and then returned the merchandise to customer service, where she received a store credit voucher and then left the store. 

Daria Okrasinski, 30, of Wading River, was arrested July 28 in Mt. Sinai and charged with aggravated DWI and seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Okrasinski was arrested on Route 25A in Mount Sinai after her vehicle, a 2005 Toyota Scion TC, collided with another vehicle. She was then found to be intoxicated and also illegally possessed the drug Alprazolam, according to police.
