Suffolk County police on Tuesday night said its pattern division is investigating the earlier robbery of the Capital One bank on Main Street in Stony Brook. According to police, the robbery was reported at 12:41 p.m. Tuesday after a man likely in his late-thirties to mid-forties walked into the 64 Main Street branch and demanded cash from the teller.

Mount Sinai Man Charged For Driving While on Drugs
A Mount Sinai man faces several charges, including a felony for driving while on drugs, according to Suffolk County police.
Steve Muller, 54, was arrested in the Cedar Beach parking lot on Sept. 1 on a charge of driving while ability impaired. Police said Muller, who was driving a 2000 Chevrolet Blazer, also failed to follow police orders by refusing to get out of the car or put his hands behind his back.
