Crimes Nearby: Third Degree Robbery in Riverhead

Suffolk County police reported the following arrests between Aug. 6-13.

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Three Village

Nina Estick, 43, of Rocky Point, was arrested Aug. 11 on Trustees Road in Setauket and charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle without owner consent. According to police, Estick was allegedly found driving a 1999 Pontiac that did not belong to her.

Port Jefferson

Jose Vargas, 25, of Port Jefferson was arrested Aug. 6 in Port Jefferson and charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Reports state Vargas was stopped by two Port Jefferson town constables for suspected drug dealing. The incident occurred at approximately 12:20 a.m. at 242 Traders Cove, Port Jefferson.

North Fork

Dustin James Moore, 23, of Shirley was charged with making graffiti on Aug. 13 at 10:25 p.m. after he was observed spray painting "RE" on the Greenport skate park wall on Moore's Lane.

Karolis Onusaitis, 23, of Southold was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and Kaylie Mokus, 22, of Southold was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana on Aug. 10 at 5:45 p.m. after police stopped a 2005 Volvo on Route 25 in East Marion, police said.

Police found Onusaitis to be in possession of oxycodone pills without a prescription and Mokus to be in possession of marijuana, police said. Both suspects were arrested and released on bail.

Riverhead

An East Quogue man who police said bank on Route 58 on Aug. 12 was arrested on County Road 39 in Southampton on Saturday at about 6 p.m., according to Riverhead Police.

Caleb Christiansen, 22, was arrested with the help of the Southampton Town Police, the State Police and the Southampton Village Police, according to the Riverhead department.

Christiansen was charged with third degree robbery and taken to Riverhead police headquarters for arraignment. He allegedly approached a teller at the bank with a note demanding money, according to police reports. He was given an undetermined amount of cash and fled on foot in an unknown direction, police said.

Miguel Estrada, 22, of Riverside was arrested on Aug. 9 at 3:05 a.m. in Riverside and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. Police said they were called to an area where someone was selling drugs, and discovered Estrada had cocaine.

Andre Williams, 32, of Riverhead was arrested on Aug. 6 in Flanders and charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest, both misdemeanors. Williams allegedly prevented officers from conducting an interview of a crime victim, and had to be physically subdued to be placed under arrest.

Annabelle Konak, 31, of Hewlett was arrested Aug. 6 on Flanders Road in Flanders and charged with circumventing an interlock device and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, both misdemeanors. Police said Konak was in an accident at the intersection of Flanders Road and County Road 105 when they discovered her license had been suspended for a prior DWI conviction and that she had tried to not use a court-ordered device in her car.
