Police: Recent Home Thefts in Miller Place Under Investigation

Four recent home thefts in Miller Place are currently under investigation.

From Oct. 19 to 26, four different thefts occured on or inside private property in Miller Place, Suffolk Police said.

Most recently on Oct. 26, an unkown person forced open a backdoor to a home on Marbeth Circle and stole assorted jewelery from the home, police said.

On Oct. 21 on Tyler Avenue a 2004 Polaris Predator ATV was stolen from the side of a shed. On Oct. 19 assorted jewelry and a camera was taken from a home on Cedar Drive and an unkown person broke into an attached garage on Southwood Avenue by breaking a rear glass window and stole a toolbox, hedge trimmer, compressor and two golf sets, police said.

According to police, no arrests have been made and the incidents are currently under investigation.
