Long Island Sharks' Football League Celebrates With Brunch

Over 800 students came together to celebrate good sportsmanship with a brunch hosted by their PAL league.

The Long Island Sharks’ Football Brunch and Awards Ceremony was held this week at the East Wind in Wading River to celebrate more than 800 children from Miller Place, Rocky Point, and Shoreham-Wading River communities that participated in the organization’s football and cheerleading programs.

“The Sharks Football league is a great asset to our local families, teaching our children the importance of good sportsmanship,” said Legislator Sarah Anker in a statement. “I’d like to congratulate the players, coaches, and parents for the success of this wonderful athletic program and thank them for bringing the residents of our community together.”
