After holding public hearings throughout each of the Town of Brookhaven's council district's, the town's Bipartisan Redistricting Commission will be holding public workshops at Town Hall starting Aug. 13.
All meetings will be held in the third floor work session room of Town Hall in Farmingville. The schedule of working meetings is as follows:
- Monday, August 13 at 4 p.m.
- Wednesday, August 22 at 4 p.m.
- Monday, September 10 at 4 p.m.
- Wednesday, September 12 at 4 p.m.
A public hearing will also be held on Sept. 6 at 6:30 p.m. in the second floor Media Room. The commission continues to look for community input as they work to re-examine council district boundaries, as required by law every ten years.
