Journalist Tim Green Visits Rocky Point Middle School

Tim Green donates $1,500 to Rocky Point Middle School students library.

New York Times Best Seller, Tim Green, decided to pay a special visit to the Rocky Point Middle School students to give them an inside look into the world of journalism and discuss his latest book.

Green held an assembly to tell the students a little bit about his background like his time studying law and his previous life as a former professional football star. As Green continued speaking about the choices and decisions he made in his career, he told the students how he ended up working in journalism.

“I always wanted to write books that people could get lost in,” said Green at the assembly. “Make sure you work just as hard in school as you do in sports. Everything you put into your education will pay you back and will be there to help you succeed in the future.”

To close out the assembly, Green read the first chapter of his latest young novel, 'Unstoppable,' and then went to the district's library to offer signed copies to any students willing to meet him.

Additionally, Greene donated $1,500 worth of books to the middle school students.
