Rocky Point High School student Monica Giannotti has been named a 2012-2013 National Hispanic Recognition Program Honorable Mention recipient.
The NHRP was initiated in 1983 to identify outstanding Hispanic/Latino high school students. This year, the organization recognized approximately 5,000 students from the pool of more than 253,000 who took the 2011 PSAT/NMSAT/PAA.
