Photos: Students Run, Jump and Play at Field Days

Students participate in team-related events and enjoy the sunny weather at local field days.

With the weather (somewhat) cooperating, young local students have been taking part in field days across the area.

Students at Frank J. Carasiti Elementary School in Rocky Point recently celebrated grade-level field days this June. During the event, the students rotated through a series of activity stations, each named after a branch of the military. Each class wore color-coordinated T-shirts featuring the slogan “FJC is a Bucket Filling School.”

At the end of May, Andrew Muller Primary School students in Miller Place enjoyed teamwork in relay races and other events at their annual field day.

Due to inclement weather, the Joseph A. Edgar School's fifth grade field day was rescheduled and will take place on June 17.
