Whiz Kid: Jessie Vessichio a Multi-Sport Athlete
Entering her junior year at Rocky Point High School, she is on the volleyball, softball and winter track teams.

School: - 11th grade
Accomplishment: Vessichio is an all around athlete and has been an outside hitter on the Varsity volleyball team since ninth grade and run Varsity winter track since ninth grade, running the 300 meters and throwing the shot put. She has also been on the Varsity softball team since eighth grade where she plays centerfield and third base.
Along with the school teams, she's played on United's travel club volleyball team, Team L.I. travel softball and the Hurricane Storm travel softball team.

Keys to Awesomeness Vessichio takes honors and AP courses and has volunteered at Holy Trinity Church's summer camp and participated in RPHS's Relay for Life for the American Cancer Society.
Her high school volleyball team participates in the Dig Pink fundraiser, raising money for breast cancer awareness and research. Over the past two years her volleyball team has raised $16,000.
