Whiz Kid: Robert Dudley a Scholar Athlete, Musician and Volunteer

High School sophomore a scholar athlete who plays multiple instruments and donates his time around the community.

Name: Robert Dudley - Age 16

School: - Grade 10

Accomplishments: Robert has taken honors and AP classes while in high school and has been on the honor roll and high honor roll. As a 9th grader, he received the Award for Excellence in Social Studies.  

He plays the clarinet in the symphonic concert band and was selected to perform at the Suffolk County Music Educators Association (SCMEA) festival because of his clarinet skills. Dudley plays percussion and guitar with the high school's jazz band and has participated in the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) competition.

The 16-year-old is a three sport Varsity athlete, competing on the tennis, cross country and winter track teams. On the winter track team, he runs the 1600 meter, 600 meter and 4x800 meter relay. As a member of the cross country team, he was the recipient of the Scholar Athlete Award and the Most Improved Award.

He has been an Altar Server at for the past seven years. He is a member of his high school's service club, volunteering at Safe Halloween, Breakfast with Santa and the PTO's Egg Hunt.  He has also lent a hand at the Dig Pink event, which raises money for breast cancer research and awareness.

Rob is also a certified American Red Cross waterfront and pool lifeguard.
