Any MPHS athletic Hall of Fame would have to start with three coaching pioneers: Don Pranzo, Pat McCarrick and Roy Reese. They were the ones with foresight, the ones who shaped many student-athlete's lives and the school's athletic path.

Very simple. Here are your top 7 to go in with the first ballot. 1. Pranzo 2. McCarrick 3. Rick Donnelly (NFL Punter) 4. Will Brown (Albany Basketball Coach). 5. Barbara Bidermann (Best female athlete of the first decade of the school). 6. Matt Ryan (Basketball and later captain of the Team Handball squad - Olympics). 7. Doug Read (Track - NY State Champ at 800 meters - and basketball).

Who is on the committee? That is all you have to know to see who goes in first. Lots fo favors will be paid back. Check the Waltz Inn list of those who have not left.
