Eagles Scoreboard: Varsity Basketball Logs 3 Losses

Both the girls and boys varsity Eagles basketball teams had a rough holiday week, with three losses between the two of them. Here's the scoring details of varsity games from Dec. 22-30.

Varsity Boys Basketball: The boys team suffered two losses during Christmas week, first to Kings Park and then Shoreham-Wading River. The Eagles fell to the Kingsmen at home Dec. 21, Kings Park 73, Rocky Point 53. On the road Dec. 28 at the Wildcats' home turf, the Rocky Point boys again dropped the game, Shoreham-Wading River 48, Rocky Point, 38. The Eagles boys face Kings Park again on the road Jan. 27, but don't have another scheduled game against the Wildcats this season. In their next game, the Rocky Point boys face off against Harborfields on the road Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.

Varsity Girls Basketball: The Eagles varsity girls team dropped its game Dec. 21 to the Kings Park girls on the road, Kingsmen 50, Eagles 36. The Rocky Point girls face the Kingsmen again at home on Jan. 28 at 4:30 p.m. The local team's next match is against Tuesday at 4:15 p.m.
