The New York Families Against Bullying Walkathon was held May 19 at Heritage Park in Mt. Sinai, which raised funds to help bring guest speakers and anti-bullying programs to the Mt. Sinai School District.
Suffolk County Legis. Sarah Anker attended the event.
"Having experienced bullying first-hand as a child, I will do everything I can to support important awareness programs to give our kids the tools they need to stop bullying," Anker said.
